Two Postdoctoral Research Fellowships in Gravitational Wave Astrophysics

The ideal candidate will be capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a research team. The candidate must hold, or be about to obtain, a doctoral degree in astrophysics or a related field. Experience in observational astronomy, automated data analysis, and familiarity with time-domain and multi-messenger astrophysics is strongly preferred, whilst expertise in instrumentation and control systems would be welcome.
The positions are supported via STFC project and consolidated grant funding. One post is currently funded till Dec 31st 2023 via an STFC PPRP award, and is more focused on development support for the project, whereas the 2nd post is science exploitation driven and linked to the STFC consolidated grant ending April 2023. Applicants should also submit a signed covering letter with a concise description of their research or technical accomplishments & interests, as well as a CV including a full publication list. They should provide the names of at least two academic referees.
